Through the therapeutic use of drama and other creative arts techniques, you will find space to process your emotions, reexamine your relationship dynamics, and get support.

Group Facilitators Trained in Counseling & Drama Therapy:
Michelle Chang is a Marriage and Family Therapist intern (intern number pending) and received her MA in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Drama Therapy in California Institute of Integral Studies. She works with individuals, children, couples, and families. She respects each client’s uniqueness and differences, supporting clients in self-love, self-esteem and in processing grief.


Amelia Kriss is a MFT trainee and currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Drama Therapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies.  She is passionate about supporting her clients in self-acceptance, deep and satisfying relationships, and breaking damaging patterns to make way for new and fulfilling choices. 

Michelle Chang and Amelia Kriss are supervised by Armand Volkas, RDT, MFT (MFC#28789)

提升溝通技巧和人際關係:全程使用中文的體驗工作坊


想知道人為什麼會吵架嗎?  

想降低爭執、衝突的頻率和強度嗎? 

想與親密的人建立更正向的連結嗎?




越親密的人越容易起爭執,為什麼呢?

人與人之間,總是不斷地在找尋歸屬感、認同感、信任和親密感,
但偏偏天底下沒有兩個人是一模一樣。

即便是出生在同一個家庭裡,個性和價值觀也可能南轅北轍,
那麼究竟誰要配合誰呢?你曾經試圖改變對方嗎?又或者你改變到忘記自己是誰了?

如果我不認同你,你也不認同我,那是不是註定要大吵一架,然後拼個勝負?

這可不一定。


不坐著乖乖聽課,也不是填鴨式教學,
經驗取向工作坊,會運用劇場遊戲、塗鴉、創造性藝術等媒材讓你邊玩邊體驗,
透過創造/體驗新的經驗,讓你從生理、心理都慢慢習慣更正向的模式。

整個過程是循序漸進的,每個人都可以有自己的速度,
帶領者(也就是我)會依照團體和個人的喜好去調整規畫,
所以害羞的人也很適合。

如果你很內向,常常不知道怎麼表達自己的情緒,
那這個工作坊也非常適合你喔!:)


在這個工作坊,你將會...


—辨認出使你的人際關係面臨挑戰的舊有模式; 

—了解如何安撫他人與被安撫; 

—學習用有技巧、不攻擊他人的方式處理衝突; 

—練習在各種人際關係中能夠更有彈性的面對挫折和轉變; 

—練習溫和卻精確的表達情緒和想法


Q&A

Q1: 上次已經有辦過「不是教你說好話」了,內容會一樣嗎?
A1:「不是教你說好話」是第二次開辦,但每次內容都會不太一樣喔!
  上次比較著重於個人界限、溝通模式(TA)、和家庭關係。這次也會
  學習溝通模式、但預計會更著重在衝突、安撫和溝通潛規則。


Q2: 會有很多人嗎?我比較內向一點。
A2: 這會是一個八人以下的小團體。為了維持每個團體成員的權益和支持系統,
       十次的課程中,每位成員只能缺席兩次。因此是一個成員固定的封閉小團體,
  成員之間也必須遵守保密原則。

Creative Arts Support Group

分手後創造性藝術支持團體



Are you heart-broken? 

Do you want to move on?  

Do you find yourself still lingering in the past?

If it has been a while since your last relationship and you want to move on; this six session group is for you.

This group offers you a safe space where you can process your emotions, reexamine your relationship dynamics, and be supported. Through experiential techniques based on drama therapy you will explore how to learn from the past relationship and create new and better ways of relating with yourself and others. 


*Shy people are welcome
*Pre-registration required
*Workshop will be held in English



Facilitators:

Michelle Chang is an MFT trainee supervised by Armand Volkas, RDT, MFT (MFC#28789) at Living Arts Counseling Center. She works with individuals, couples, and families. She majors in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Drama Therapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She respects each client’s uniqueness and differences, and she supports clients by providing a nurturing environment that facilitates their growth.

Alethia Olmedo-Perlasca is an MFT Trainee at the Living Arts Counseling Center. She is studying for a Master’s in Counseling Psychology with emphasis in Drama Therapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies. She is a certified psychotherapist in Mexico City by the Centro Ericksoniano de Mexico. She has certifications in Existential Psychology and Human Development by the Universidad Iberoamericana Mexico, in Emotional Intelligence by the Claustro de Sor Juana University, and in Education Management by FORMO international. She is a certified coach by Coaching Ontológico de México. She is supervised by Armand Volkas MFT (MFC#28789).
